Yes — Pokii reads and writes data to Apple Health (with your permission). This allows you to:
Import existing weight measurements
Log weight so it can be used across other health apps
Keep everything securely backed by Apple’s privacy model
Important: Pokii only sees data after it appears in Apple Health.
If you’re using a connected device (like a Withings or Fitbit scale), those apps must first sync their readings into Apple Health before Pokii can recognize them. For example, with a Withings scale you’ll need to open the Withings app so it pushes your latest weights into Apple Health. Once the data shows up there, Pokii will automatically pick it up.
Tip: If your weight is showing in Apple Health but not in Pokii, pull down on the Pokii dashboard. You’ll see a spinner appear, which forces a refresh and loads the latest data from Apple Health.

You can manage Pokii’s permissions in the Apple Health app under Profile → Apps → Pokii.
