Where is my data stored?

Your data lives in two places: locally on your device, and in your personal iCloud account — not on our servers.

On your device: The app stores some data directly on your iPhone or iPad.
In your iCloud account: The app uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync and back up your data to your personal iCloud Private Database — a secure, private storage space that only you can access.

We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. We have no ability to view, access, or retrieve your information. Your data is entirely under your control.

There is no account to delete

Our app does not use accounts. You never created a username, password, or profile with us — there is nothing on our end associated with your identity.

Instead of a traditional account system, Pokii uses Apple's CloudKit to store your data privately and securely in your own iCloud. We never see it, we never touch it, and we have no record of you as a user.

So if you're looking to "delete your account" — the good news is there isn't one. What you may want to do is delete the app and remove your data from iCloud, which you can do entirely on your own by following the steps below.

What happens if I just delete the app?

Deleting the app from your device removes the local data, but your iCloud data will remain. This means:

Your data will still exist in your iCloud account.
If you reinstall the app in the future, your data will be automatically restored.

To fully and permanently delete everything, follow both steps below.

How to completely delete the app and all your data

Complete both steps in order to ensure all data is removed.

Step 1 — Delete your iCloud data

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap iCloud.
Tap Storage (or Manage Account Storage or iCloud Storage on older iOS versions).
Find and tap Pokii in the list.
Tap Delete Data for From iCloud and confirm.

This permanently removes all your data from iCloud. This action cannot be undone.

Step 2 — Delete the app from your device

Press and hold the Pokii icon on your home screen.
Tap Remove App.
Tap Delete App and confirm.

Can you delete my data for me?

No — and this is intentional. Because your data is stored exclusively in your personal iCloud Private Database, only you have access to it. We have no visibility into your data and no technical ability to delete it on your behalf. This is a privacy-first design that keeps your information entirely in your own hands.
